The Personal Microderm is a great new device for personal microdermabraision at home. I tested this device on seven patients at the Gateway Aesthetic Institute and Laser Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Each of the patient did fifteen treatments at home. All of the the patients achieved excellent results and were happy with the Personal Microderm treatments. Clinical examinations and with before and after photography, proved that patients can achieve an improved skin appearance equal to the results we are able to obtain with our clinical microdermabrasion system in the clinic.The greatest improvement will be seen in patients with early texture changes, sun damaged skin, uneven sun freckling, early seborrheic keratoses (small warty growths on the skin), mild comedonal (whitehead and blackheads) acne, and conditions where there is a buildup of dead skin like that seen in keratosis pilaris which causes bumpy skin on the arms and cheeks. The personal microderm also smooths the skin to give a more even makeup application and to to remove minor skin blemishes. It is very important to read all of the instructions, watch the video and protect the skin from the sun before and after treatment. It it far better to do several mild treatments than to be too agressive in one treatment. The Personal Microderm is an amazing new home beauty tool. Try it.
